Asociación Nacional de Criadores y Propietarios de Caballos Peruanos de Paso and the Peruvian Horse Association of Canada.

This document is an agreement between the "Asociación de Criadores y

Propietarios de Caballos Peruanos de Paso" in Peru from hereon ANCPCPP, represented by it's President Mr.

Eduardo Risso Montes and Mr.

Jose Risso Montes on behalf of the "National Registry in Peru". The other party is the "Peruvian Horse Association of

Canada" from hereon PHAC, represented by it's President Mr. Ben Sawatzky and Mrs.

Sherri Rosia , Chairperson of the "Registration Committee" at PHAC. The purpose is to recognize each others Registries of Peruvian Paso Horses in the following terms.

ONE: The ANCPCPP is the entity officially recognized by the Republic of Peru as the representative of the breed in preserving the integrity of the "Peruvian Paso Horse" originated in Peru; thereby has the authority to provide rules and regulations that will allow it to rescue, improve and promote the breed nationally and abroad. The ANCPCPP is also in charge of the Registration of Peruvian Paso Horses as recognized by the

Peruvian Government's Law # 26606.

TWO: PHAC conducts the Registry of Peruvian Paso Horses in the Canada and accepts registrations of horses coming from other Registries in Countries whose registrations are also recognized by the ANCPCPP in Peru. PHAC only registers Purebred Peruvian Paso

Horses and it's descendants coming from the Original Registry in Peru. The considerable number of Registrations at PHAC merits the official recognition by the ANCPCPP as the sole Registry in Canada.

THREE: The purpose of this Agreement is to establish the criteria and procedures in implementing the integration of these two Registries under the provisions forwarded in the above Clauses One and Two. The parties agree to: a.

Mutually recognize the denomination of the "Caballo Peruano de Paso" in Peru or the "Peruvian Paso Horse", as it is commonly referred to by the aficionados in the

Canada. PHAC's Registration Certificates clearly identify its registered as a "Purebred Peruvian Paso Horse". b.

PHAC's Registry will continue to follow the criteria, rules and regulations provided by the "National Registry in Peru" provided that they do not conflict with the laws of Canada or the by-laws of the PHAC. c.

The Registration Certificates issued by either one of the parties are sufficient title in order for horses to be registered in the other Registry. d.

PHAC will continue to register Purebred Peruvian Paso Horses under the terms specified in Clause Two of this Agreement. e.

In order to obtain worldwide information of the population (Stud Book) of

Registered Purebred Peruvian Paso Horses, PHAC will in January of each year, report to the ANCPCPP the number of Registration Certificates, Transfers and

Deaths of horses that happened during the previous year. f.

In pursuing these goals, the National Registry in Peru will have the right to request and receive information to the records of the PHAC in Canada. g.

Independently, any of the parties is free to require a DNA test of an individual for parental verification in order to allow the registration of such horse into the other

Registry.

FOUR: The National Registry in Peru recognizes the imported horses and their descendants, duly registered at PHAC.

FIVE: The ANCPCPP recognizes PHAC as the sole entity in Canada authorized to issue Registration Certificates of the Peruvian Paso Horse.
