Discussion
 Motion was made to approve by Dr Hutchings and seconded by Dr Burns.
 In the future it may be more difficult to access credit hours as we begin to do a
nontraditional delivery of content. Maybe too early to worry about but should
start thinking about. Il subcommittee cancelled December meeting so we are in
limbo until they hold a meeting.
 Revamping 2nd yr Clinical year curriculum. Increased credit hours by 3 and
formalized the assessment by adding 4 courses. Education Committee approved
all modifications.
 Ed Evans, Cardiovascular Science Program, will take over next meeting.
 Dr Hutchings presented new course to the committee. ‘Stress Management
Relaxation & Hypnotherapy Techniques’.
 Gross Anatomy changed contact hours but not credit hours. Changed from 2 to
1 lab per week.
 A) Biomedical Sciences Program – AZ: No Additional Report.
 B) Cardiovascular Science – AZ: No Additional Report.
 C) Clinical Psych – AZ: Accreditation 9-10 March 2011.
 D) CRNA – AZ: Accreditation 4-5 April 2011.
 E) Occupational Therapy Program – AZ: Absent.
 F) Physician Assistant – AZ: 6 Observations. The Accrediting Body will meet
in March. We probably won’t know the results until April.
 G) Podiatry – AZ: Self study. On site end of March.
 H) Physical Therapy – AZ: Absent
 Catalog is due February 2.
 Change in Chair will be coming in the next month.
 The next meeting will announced at a later date
