3rd Annual LOSC Spring Youth Soccer Outdoor Program
Grades Pre-K through 3rd Grade
LOSC Families:
Historically LOSC has not provided an outdoor youth soccer program due to field constraints. This spring
(April, May, and June) we are going to run our third annual spring soccer program.
The dates for the program are: April 16, 23, 30 May 7, 14, 21 June 4
There will not be any weekday practices. The structure will be that each team will have a 1 hour 15
minute time slot each Saturday and they will hold a practice for 30 minutes followed by a game for 40-45
minutes.
Team formation will be by sign up date (registration will be on-line Feb 22, 2016) and we will form teams
based on school attending. At this point the plan is for teams to be coed at Pre-K and K then gender
based at 1st through 3rd grades. We may have to combine age groups if we do not have enough numbers
but we are planning on keeping them separate.
Pre-K through 1st grade will play 3v3 and 2nd and 3rd grade 4v4
Games/Trainings will be held at local area fields
The cost for the program will be $65.00
Like our fall youth soccer season we will rely on volunteer coaches to help with the coaching of teams.
Players will use their uniforms from the fall youth soccer season.
We project the following timeline:
Feb 22nd - Registration Open (registration will continue to remain open through the season – However,
when teams are full we will no longer place players onto those teams. Players will be placed on teams
where there are open positions).
April 16th – First Game
June 4th - Final Game
