Multnomah County Library Fy 03-04 collection turnover rates
Turnover rate is a measure of how hard the collection works. Turnover is calculated as circulation divided by holdings, accounting for LOST items.

a note about LOST agency:
LOST material is that which has been overdue to a patron for 49 days or more, or material a patron has lost and paid.
After 6 months in LOST status, items are changed to the LOST agency and masked in the public access catalog.
LOST item records are purged from DYNA after three years (as of 8/02 per Brenda Clark.) Upon purging, the lost item information and charge is cleared from any patron record to
which it was attached.
