The Bachelor of Science in Child and Adolescent Development (CHAD) requires a minimum of 120 units to graduate. The degree
requires the successful completion of 51 units in the major consisting of required core classes, fieldwork, a developmental elective,
breadth electives, advisement track courses, and 51 units of General Education. Prerequisites for CAS courses are strictly enforced.
All courses counted for the CHAD major must be completed with a C (2.0) or better. If planning to teach elementary school,
consult both a CAS advisor and the Center for Careers in Teaching (H-113) immediately.
