guidelines. Follows up with referral source regarding patient’s treatment and progress. Utilizes and maintains equipment and requests supplies as needed.
Displays an ongoing commitment to reducing costs and improving productivity in the department. Assists in program development and improvement. Attends
approved continuing education courses and presents in-service to department following CEU course. Participates in Community Education Programs.
Coordinates and implements patient safety and quality initiatives related to Therapy Services and the National Quality Forum. A minimum of a Master's in Speech
Language Pathology is required. Incumbent should have a Certificate of Clinical Competence CCC-SLP from the American Speech-Language Hearing
Association. Must have a current license as a Speech and Language Pathologist in Nebraska. CPR certified. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Minimum of three years of progressive experience in speech therapy preferred. Experience with videofloroscopy in addition to outpatient and inpatient therapy
experiences. Must possess strong knowledge of speech therapy; strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and professional standards; strong
communication skills; strong change management skills; must demonstrate personal traits of a high level of motivation; team orientation; professionalism; trust;

Able to administer routine and complex Respiratory Care, and Cardiovascular Diagnostic procedures. Assists the Medical Staff in recommending appropriate
therapeutic and diagnostic Respiratory Care procedures, to include utilization review for admission and discharge criteria. Administration of cardiac stress tests,
EKGs, holter monitors, and other cardiac diagnostic procedures. Must be Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care within 6 months of hire date.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP all employees. Current STABLE for all Full time and Part time employees. Education in the care and special needs of
patients of all ages. Experience in working with patients of all ages in an acute care setting preferred. Must be able to work in various settings to include
Emergency Room, Labor and Delivery, Med. Surg., Outpatient treatment and diagnostics.
0498, 0499 – RN – Surgery (PRN/Casual)
The Surgery RN performs admission assessments and documentation, develops plan of care and obtains consents. Evaluates data, documents and
communicates to appropriate members of the team. Help to improve processes and procedures by helping with data retrieval for PI, tissue audit, core measures
and SCIP. Follows appropriate procedures for changes in patient condition which require planning and intervention. Demonstrates knowledge of and consistently
follows narcotic control procedures, documentation and reporting medications. Maintains and enforces aseptic technique. Clean concise documentation of all
surgical counts, vitals and medications. Anticipates needs of surgeon and staff in OR, PACU and SDS. Willing and able to be flexible in scheduling of both
regularly scheduled and emergent surgery to meet the patients and staff needs. Takes call for emergency surgery and is available within 30 minutes. Able to
adapt schedule to be able to work in several areas. Prefer 2 years Operating Room experience. Current BLS and ACLS Certifications. Able to start and maintain
IV’s. Computer skills. Knowledge of drugs used in OR, PACU and SDS.
0504 – Radiology Tech - Radiology (PRN/Casual)
Responsible for operating radiologic equipment in such a manner that high quality images are obtained for a Radiologist’s use in diagnostic interpretation. This
includes performance of radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures in the radiology department, the use of portable equipment at the bedside, and the C-arm in
surgery. Performs procedures according to department procedures (includes adjusting KVP, MAS, and/or distance for optimal results; proper patient exam
preparation; proper preparation of solutions needed for exam; proper patient positioning). Effectively problem solves imaging equipment and computer systems
when necessary. Currently licensed by the state of Nebraska as a Medical Radiographer. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification or board
eligible. Current BLS Certification required. One year successful experience in a Radiology with CT experience. Demonstrated strong interpersonal
communication skills necessary to effectively interact with patients, patient family members, providers, and other staff members.
0510 – Surgical Technologist – Surgery (PRN/Casual)
The Surgical Technologist has a working knowledge of instruments, cleaning procedures, sterilizing and wrapping instruments. Assists physicians with surgical
procedures handing instruments, holding retractor and maintaining accurate surgical counts. Assists nursing staff with care of patients ranging in age from
newborn to geriatrics. Able to be flexible with scheduling and duties to meet patient care needs. Assists in cleanup of OR with proper disposal of wastes, linens,
etc. Cleans, sterilizes and assembles instruments according to policy and procedures. Maintains all specialty trays, instruments needed for surgery, and sterilizes
instruments for all clinics, OB, ED and Med Surg. Checks outdate and status of sterile packs regularly. Routinely orders supplies and stocks cupboards and
shelves in OR. Assists with patient care in Preop and Postop under the direction of the RN. Helps with transportation and dismissal of patient. Routinely takes
call to scrub for emergency surgery after scheduled hours. Available within 30 minutes for emergency procedures. High School graduate or GED required.
Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist program or on the job trained with 3 years of experience required. Current BLS certification required.
0512 – Physician Assistant – Blair Walk-In Clinic (1.0 FTE) Full-time Days
Maintains standards of professional mid-level practitioner. May function as a mid-level practitioner in the Primary Care Clinics and Walk-In Clinic. All duties
performed shall be approved by the supervising physician, and the medical staff of Memorial Community Hospital. Performs detailed and accurate assessments
and documents all information necessary to ensure accurate patient records. Performs a physical examination as pertinent, modifying the examination for the
nature of the complaint or problem, age/sex of patient and physical condition of patient. Develops initial impression as to severity, etiology, and immediacy of
patient’s problem based on analysis of data obtained from history, physical, and ancillary or diagnostic testing. Current Nebraska State Boards of Licensure as a
Physician Assistant. Basic Life Support Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification. Possesses cognitive, organizational, and emotional ability and
maturity to deal effectively with multiple stressors, deadlines, difficult situations and/or patients.

various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient
care goals and teaching patient and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures
within the medical surgical field and Intensive Care nursing. Coordinates and implements patient safety, core measures, and quality initiatives related to Med/Surg.
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or Iowa. Minimum 1 year of RN experience
required. Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
0526 – Physician/Physician Assistant– Emergency Department – (1.0 FTE) Full-time
Performs detailed and accurate assessments and documents all information necessary to ensure accurate patient records. Elicits pertinent medical and psychosocial history including: patient profile, chief complaint, history and review of symptoms. Develops initial impression as to severity, etiology, and immediacy of
patient’s problem based on analysis of data obtained from history, physical, and ancillary or diagnostic testing. Performs a physical examination as pertinent,
modifying the examination for the nature of the complaint or problem, age/sex of patient and physical condition of patient. Orders, performs, and analyzes
diagnostic tests appropriate for complaint, age, race, sex, and physical condition of patient. Prescribes medications appropriate for and effective in the treatment
of diagnosed issue. Performs musculoskeletal therapies. Performs eye, ear, nose, and throat therapies. Performs minor surgical therapies/procedures.
Proficient in providing patient education and counseling. Works collaboratively with other providers. Maintains compliance with regulations. Documents
thoroughly, accurately and in a timely fashion on all patient encounters. Current Nebraska State Board of Licensure as a Physician or Physician Assistant.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and ATLS certifications. At least two years of experience as a practicing physician or physician assistant required, preferably in an
Emergency Department.
0527 – CRNA – Anesthesia – (PRN/Casual)
Provides Anesthesia Service to patients at MCH by maintaining current standards of practice as a CRNA. Visits patients pre-operatively and evaluates his/her
physical and mental status. Establishes rapport and reassures patients of proposed anesthetic agents and techniques to be used, and the pros and cons of such.
Answers all questions posed by the patient. Current Nebraska State Board of Nursing Licensure as an RN and as a CRNA. Current Certification by American
Association of Nurse Anesthetists, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications also required. Two years of independent practice preferred. Able to implement
professional skills within the Scope of Practice allowed by the Nurse Practice Act.
0529, 0530 – Ultrasound and/or Vascular Technologist – Radiology (PRN/Casual)
Responsible for operating ULTRASOUND equipment and performing ULTRASOUND and or VASCULAR exams in such a manner that high quality images are
obtained for a Radiologist’s use in diagnostic interpretation. Performs procedures according to department procedures (includes obtaining accurate patient history,
routine and special exams, care of the patient). Effectively problem solves imaging equipment and computer systems when necessary. Demonstrates kindness
and caring to patients during positioning and throughout the exam. Maintains equipment and work area to provide a clean and orderly work area. Effectively
communicates with the Diagnostics Lead on any departmental issues and across all departments with staff at all levels. Requirements include ARDMS or RT(R),
and/or RVT and or SVU, NE State License, and BLS Certification Required . One year of experience in a high volume ULTRASOUND and/or VASCULAR
department is preferred.
0533 – Housekeeper (1.0 FTE) Full-time – typically 11:30am to 8:00pm Mon-Fri and rotating weekends
The Housekeeper performs cleaning of all patient and public areas. Follows prescribed procedures and standards. Performs sanitizing and disinfecting work
throughout the hospital and clinics in patient care areas, exam rooms, waiting rooms, restrooms, offices and conference rooms. Performs general cleaning tasks
such as but not limited to trash/recycling/biohazard removal, dusting, wet wiping, glass cleaning, vacuuming, spotting, polishing and mopping. Performs detail
cleaning such as wiping ceiling vents, high/low dusting, wiping furniture, edge vacuuming and baseboard cleaning. Performs basic equipment care, checks for
wear and damage on assigned equipment. Keeps paper and chemical supplies stored in work rooms neat and organized. Keeps Housekeeping cart clean and
stocked. High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of experience in environmental services preferred, with one year in a hospital setting preferred.

The Information Technology Applications & Systems Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day operations, administration, maintenance, and support of the Health
Care Information Systems and ancillary applications environment. Duties include on-going maintenance; respond to program interruptions and other problems.
Assist in end-user training and education program for applications. Assists in the design, implementation, and maintenance of internal applications and system.
The Analyst plays a major part in the implementation and support of all financials and clinical applications. The Analyst delivers overall support to the Information
Technology team providing technical support in all areas including network, personal computers and other minor equipment and software. Bachelors of Science
degree or equivalent healthcare IT experience preferred. Broad healthcare related technical background highly desired.
0537 – Medical Technologist /Medical Lab Technologist – Lab – (1.0 FTE) Full-time Evenings/Nights $2,000 HIRING BONUS
Performs clinical laboratory procedures, quality assurance, instrument maintenance and all other requirements to provide quality patient results and following local,
state and federal regulations. Provides continuous process improvement for the betterment of the laboratory processes and patient care. Performs routine and
special laboratory testing within a designated area. Designated areas include hematology Microbiology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Immunoassay and
Urinalysis. Performs and contributes to proficiency testing, quality control, quality assurance, and PI Projects. Associates Degree for Medical Laboratory
Technician, Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology for Medical Technologist, MT (ASCP) Certification and BLS certification required. One-year general
hospital lab experience preferred.
0538 – RN-Clinic – Rural Health Clinics (PRN/Casual)
Interdisciplinary team member responsible for overall coordination of care and service delivered to patients. Works collaboratively with practitioners, fellow staff
members, patients and their family members. Able to perform the duties as assigned and to assist practitioner in all aspects of patient care as needed. Checks
patients into the exam room, assist practitioner with minor surgical procedures and exams, administers medications, assist practitioners with patient phone calls.
Proficient in the drawing, collection, and documentation of lab. Performs EKGs when clinically indicated. Schedule and follow up on patient tests, procedures,
and specialty appointments as deemed necessary by the physician. Start and monitor IV fluids as directed by the physician. Mails or calls results to patients as
the physician deems necessary. Obtains appropriate authorization and consents for treatment. Communicates assessment to practitioner. Current Registered
Nurse in the state of Nebraska or Iowa. Current Basic Life Support certification required. Previous hospital and/or health clinic experience preferred.
