Hwy 431 Awakening Tour
On March 19, 2010 my wife Cheryl and I were in Eufaula, Alabama. Our assignment
was to help the church of the city open the heavens to another level. There was already
an amazing open heaven in that region, and we were there to partner with them to
steward that open heaven.
We had lunch that day with business leaders, Larry and Anita Parks, Scott Land, Alex
Kontos and Pastor Rod Varella. Larry Parks made a statement that shifted the course of
the meeting. He said, “Ray Hughes prophesied a move of God on Hwy 431.”
When I heard this, Holy Spirit spoke with authority and said, “This is an Acts 4:31
highway.” People began to ask, “What is Acts 4:31?”

And when they had prayed, the place where they had
gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with
the Holy Spirit, and began to speak the word of God with
boldness.
I could not get away from what the Holy Spirit had just revealed to us. This is a place in
which the Lord wants to awaken a Acts 4:31 move of God. That night in the meeting the
heavens were open to us in a new way. Authority, Boldness and Liberty invaded the
meeting. I spoke about Acts 4:31.
On my way home from the meeting I was not able to shake this Acts 4:31 highway. Holy
Spirit began speaking to me about doing an awakening tour on this highway.
I sat on this word for a month only speaking about it with my wife Cheryl. Then Clay
Nash called. I shared with him the story and he said, “This is Grassroots, this is what
needs to happen in each state.” This was now beginning to come together in my mind.
The conversation Clay and I had activated the heavens. That day I had a dream about
Highway 431. The scene of the dream was rural Kentucky on Hwy 431. Standing at an
intersection with my foot propped up on a split rail fence. Ray Hughes had parked his
truck off the road at the intersection. As Ray began walking to his truck, I said, “Ray I
need to talk with you about Hwy 431.” While standing by the fence I sent a text message
to his phone. Ray looked at his phone, read the text and said, “Don’t procrastinate this.”
Later while in a phone conversation with Ray Hughes, he said that he had prophesied
about Hwy 431 in 1998 while in a meeting in Mobile, Alabama. He said, “There will be
a move of God-do-ins on Highway 431.”
I plan to do this tour. Highway 431 is a “Acts 4:31 Highway.” Clay Nash will also help
facilitate this tour. From Dothan Alabama to Owensboro Kentucky, partnering with the
church in many cities on highway 431, opening the highway to the Lord, releasing an
awakening.

the way for the people; build up, build up
the highway; remove the stones, lift up a
standard over the peoples.
