Our Dance for Diwali
Diwali is the festival of lights. It is celebrated for the purpose of
Rama and Sita returning from the forest after staying there for
14 years. Hindus from all around the world celebrate Diwali.
On Diwali parents get children presents.
On Tuesday 13th November 2012, Shivangi and I (Divyani)
danced on a song for Diwali called ‘Kaja ra re’. We wore
special Indian dresses and special jewellery. Mr Duffin recorded
a video of the dance and took pictures of us. Everybody enjoyed
the dance very much. We also brought in Indian sweets for the
class and the teachers.
