The Southwestern Senior Baseball League was formed prior to the 1996 baseball season. In our
inaugural season our league consisted of six teams. The charter members were the Exeter Express,
Lakeside Lizards, Listowel Legionaires, London Chiefs, Strathroy Brewers and Tillsonburg Red Sox.
