Proposal on the Repaving of the Road Surface at the Alley of Ngau Chi
Wan Village
(WTSDC F&EHC Paper 70/2006)
7.
As serious damage had been caused to the road surface at the
alley and the drainage in Ngau Chi Wan Village, and the future cleaning
work of FEHD was affected, as such there was a need to repave the road
surface of the alley and invite the Architectural Services Department
(ASD) to introduce the newly proposed repaving scheme. After
discussion, Members said that they supported the proposed repaving
scheme and approved that ASD applied for the allocation to commence
the works in 2007/08. Members still needed to consult public opinions
and further communicate with the commercial tenants and residents.
They requested ASD to minimise the impact of the works caused to the
commercial tenants and households while carrying out the said repaving
works.
