DESCRIPTION:
Single Door Pass Thru Warming Cabinet
Furnish one (1) single door Pass Thru Warming Cabinet. Legs are 6" adjustable
and constructed of stainless steel. The door on the front of the unit is solid stainless
steel and the door on the back (kitchen side) is glass. When installed the controls are
accessible from the kitchen. 84 ¼ x 26 ½ x 39 ¼ Energy Star approved preferred.
CABINET EXTERIOR: The exterior sides, front, back and shroud to be
constructed from 20 gauge stainless steel with #4 finish. Top and bottom are
constructed of 22 gauge aluminum. Shroud is vented. Cabinet has foamed-in-place
polyurethane insulation throughout to insure energy efficiency.
DOORS: When facing the unit from the service line side, door (on the front)
opens from the center. (Refrigerator beside warming cabinet) Front door is to be
hinged solid doors constructed of 20-gauge stainless steel with #4 finish. Door liner is
constructed of 22 gauge stainless steel or approved acceptable equal. (no galvanized)
The door on the back of the unit (kitchen side) opens from the center and is constructed
of insulated double pane glass. Humidity control wires are located around the
doorjamb to prevent condensation from forming on the cabinet and are concealed by a
high impact non-conducting thermal breaker strip. Insulated doors are provided with
locks, snap in type magnetic gaskets, self-closing hinges and recessed handles. Door
hinges are field reversible.
INTERIOR: Cabinet interior to be constructed of 22 gauge stainless steel or
approved acceptable equal. (no galvanized) Bottom and top of liner to be die-stamped
to provide radius corners and recessed bottom. Unit is provided with three (3) chrome
shelves per door section PLUS two (2) additional shelves. Shelf supports are
constructed of stainless steel with shelves adjustable in one inch increments. Interior is
lighted by high output fluorescent display lights.
HEATING SYSTEM: Unit must maintain temperatures up to 200º Fahrenheit.
Uniform heat generation to be provided by 1500 watts per compartment. Heat to be
controlled by an adjustable electronic thermostat equipped with a digital temperature
display. Humidity to be controlled by an adjustable vent on top of the cabinet.

Each cabinet to be provided with a circulating fan equipped with independent
control switch. A digital temperature display, energy saving switch and light switch is
located at the top of the unit.
GENERAL: Electrical specs are 208-240/60 single phase. This unit should
include standard cord, plug, equipment, all hardware and fittings. Cord connection and
length to be determined according to location of power source. This equipment is to
include a standard one year warranty, two year control warranty.
This unit is to be uncrated, set in place ready for mechanical connections by the
contractor. Installation should be coordinated with the contractor.
Unit must match brand of Pass-Thru Refrigerated Cabinet. Both the
Warming Cabinet and Refrigerated Cabinet must fit within the opening
measurements as indicated on the drawings.
APPROVED BRANDS:
Victory HS-1D-1-PT, Beverage Air, Metro or equal.
This unit is to be uncrated and set in place. After installation the unit should be
checked for proper operation. Successful bidder must schedule company or factory
representatives to provide instructions on proper use and care for manager and
employees within 30 days of school opening.
