This stubbed portion would be collected at the entrance of the Aution Hall (This is
just an Entry Permit for the Auction being held on 03.02.2003)
2.
Unless you are depositing a Caution Money of Rs.25,000-00 (Rupees Twenty five
thousand only) you would not be permitted in the Building.
3.
Caution Money Deposit can be adjusted against the Earnest Money of Bid Amount.
4.
Use of Mobile Phone and Cross talk is strictly prohibited.
The above referred date for auction is liable to be postponed to the next working day in case of
any unscheduled/unforeseen Holiday/Bandh, etc. Please reconfirm the time and venue or record
it from the Notice displayed at the Inland Container Depot,Sanatnagar, Hyderabad.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
1.
The prospective bidders shall have to deposit Rs.25,000-00 (Rs.Twenty Five
thousand only) (refundable)/adjustable against Earnest Money by way of cash or
Demand Draft favouring Container Corporation of India Limited payable at
Hyderabad.
2.
Goods are being sold on “AS IS and WHERE IS BASIS”.
3.
The lot or lots shall be removed in full from the site with whatever faults and flaws in
description or otherwise and no selection or sorting of the material will be allowed.
Quantities, Quality, sizes, measurements, numbers and weights stated are
approximate.
4.
Goods are sold on the assumptions that the bidder has inspected the lot prior to
bidding and knows what he is bidding for. No complaint shall be entertained after
the lot is once knocked down in bidder’s favour.
5.
Goods may be sold singly or by clubbing them in lots as suitable, convenient and
advantageous in opinion of CONCOR.
6.
Where specimen samples are shown it is clearly understood that the quality of the
material inside the container/boxes/cartons/bales/cases, etc, may not necessarily be of
exact quality, quantity, size, dimensions, specifications, features, etc.
7.
Any lot or part thereof may be withdrawn from the sale at any time before it is
actually physically delivered out of the campus without disclosing the reasons for
such withdrawal. However, if any payment has been made it would be refunded.
8.
The highest bid for each lot shall be subject to confirm at on by the auctioneer. In the
event of any dispute at last or highest bid, the same shall be resolved by CONCOR at
the auction hall and if need be the particular lot/lots in question may be re-auctioned
at CONCOR’s discretion.
9.
As a natural practice, at the fall of hammer the auction call for a particular lot is
deemed to be concluded and the bidder in whose favour the hammer falls has to pay
in cash 25% of bid money in case of “confirmea acceptance” and 10% in case of
“subject to confirmation/approval” has to be deposited, as the spot payment.

No person shall after bidding pay an amount, which is less than the amount fixed by
the auctioneer, or retract a bid.

The bidder for each lot shall give his name and address to the auctioneer and if the
bidder fails to pay the required earnest money of the full bid price as required after
the lot is knocked down in his favour, the bid shall forthwith stand cancelled and the
lot shall be reauctioned at the risk of the defaulting purchaser who shall be
responsible for the deficit, if any, in the price but shall not be entitled to any increase
arising from such sale. CONCOR reserves the right to take such action against
defaulting bidder as may be authorized by the law and/or can debar the said bidder
from bidding in the current and or future auctions.
12.
The buyer shall pay Balance of the purchase price as per the chart given below (the
last date for payment is given):BID AMOUNT
a) less than equal to 5 lakhs
b) more than 5 lakhs upto 10 lakhs
c) more than 10 lakhs upto 15 lakhs
d) more than 15 lakhs upto 20 lakhs
e) more than 20 lakhs upto 1 Crore
f) more than 1 Crore

Delivery of the goods should be taken within 3 (three) working days from the last date for
payment given above. Whenever the last day for payment either falls on Sunday or holiday,
the payment can be made on the next working day.
13.
If the purchaser fails to make payment and/or take delivery of the material,
CONCOR shall have the right to auction the un-delivered material immediately in the
next auction without any intimation to the unsuccessful bidder and the bid money
deposited by the bidder shall be forfeited.
14.
It is expressly made clear that, all the taxes, i.e, Sales Tax, Octroi, etc, shall be borne
by the purchaser. However, Sales Tax shall be paid before taking the delivery of the
consignments to CONCOR. PURCHASE TAX SHOULD BE PAID IN SALES
TAX OFFICE AND PROOF SUBMITTED.
15.
All bids invited are for the net amounts accruable to CONCOR and relevant taxes,
levies, etc, except Customs Duty shall be payable by the bidder and these taxes shall
be treated as extra and are expected to be paid before taking delivery.
16.
When goods sold are not available for any reasons for delivery, the amount received
against the sale will be refunded. In case, parts of the goods are not available for
delivery, proportionate refund of the amount received will be made. The decision of
the Regional General Manager, CONCOR, Secunderabad, shall be final and binding
in this regard.
17.
The goods shall be lying in the premises after conclusion of the bidding at the sole
risk and cost of the purchaser in all respect and the bidder should take the delivery at
his own expenses at the earliest and in any case not later than the period prescribed
above.

The cost of the material handling, i.e, Destuffing,etc shall be borne by the bidder and
payment has to be made to CONCOR at the rate prevailing at the time of taking
delivery.
19.
Particpants/bidders are prohibited from making use of mobile telephones, pagers,
making cross talk and are expected to adhere to the business ethic and necessary
discipline.
20.
Bidders are also required to occupy their seats allotted to them and not to shift to any
other seat.
21.
CONCOR reserves the right to modify and amend the “Terms and
conditions/General Conditions of Sale” and announce the same if need be while the
auction is in progress or prior to commencement of auction.

The CONTAINER CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED (A
Government of India Undertaking) proposes to conduct a Public
auction of uncleared Import cargo in containers and in warehouse
on AS IS WHERE IS BASIS as per Government of India
guidelines, on 3rd February 2003 at Inland Container Depot
premises, Near New Railway Goods shed complex, Moosapet,
Hyderabad 500 –018 from 1100 hours onwards. Detailed list of
cargo, Auction catalogue and other terms and conditions is
available for sale for Rs.100-00 at Regional Office No.602,
