Halloween Week will be Spooktacular!
October 25th – 30th is Halloween Week at Divine Dance Center! All students ages 8 &
under can wear their Halloween Costumes to dance! However, we do ask that you wear
a leotard & tights under your costume and do not wear heavy make up or a mask. We
will play Halloween games and use Halloween-inspired music for our classes this week!
Tuition Reminder
Recital Info
Tuition is due on the first class of
each month! A 10% late fee will be
assessed after the 15th of each month
Our annual recital productions are held
in June each year. This year our
performance will be on June 11th with
dress rehearsals on June 8th and June
9th. Not all dancers will need to attend
both days of dress rehearsal.
No student is required to participate in
the recital; however, it is the highlight of
the year. After a student as worked
hard all year, it’s a feeling of personal
accomplishment to perform on stage
beautifully costumed before family and
friends. The special stage experience
also helps with the development of
confidence, poise, and personality.
Costume Deposits
Costume deposits are due by October
15th. This is for your costume for the
Spring Recital. A $50.00 deposit is due
for each costume. We can’t order
costumes without a deposit, costumes
not ordered will not be here in time for
our recital pictures. If your child will
not be participating in the end of the
year recital, written notice must be
given to the studio to not incur
costume and other related fees.
Class Wear
Please make sure your child is dressed
appropriately for class. A dress code
was given to you at registration and
should be followed. For all classes, hair
should be secured back and away from
the face. Please do not send your child
in with distracting hair bows, etc that
may fall out during class.
Bring a Friend
Week
Bring a friend week is October 18th –
23rd. Your child can bring up to two
friends with them to class this week!
Any one who has a friend sign up
during Bring a Friend week will receive
a coupon for $5 off tuition!
Calendar Notes
All students should have received a
complete calendar for the year at
registration. You are reminded that we
are OPEN Columbus Day, October 11th;
Election Day, November 2nd; Veterans
Day, November 11th.
We are CLOSED for Thanksgiving
November 22nd – 28th!
Car Wash
The Divine Dance Youth
Company will be holding a
donation only car wash on
Saturday October 9th from
10am – 2pm at the Kroger
(former Harris Teeter) on
Brambleton, near Country
Cookin’! Come on out and get
your car washed for a good
cause!
