Catherine’s Closet is dedicated to the memory of Catherine Johnson who was killed in a tragic
automobile accident during the season that she was to graduate from high school. She was the
valedictorian of Clifford Scott High School in East Orange, New Jersey and was buried in her prom
gown. Catherine wanted to be a pediatrician.
