DAI’s prime contract to the MDA’s Directorate of
Acquisition Policy, Plans and Assessments
(MDA/DAP) was competitively awarded in May of
2009, providing over-arching executive-level
acquisition support to the entire multi-billion dollar
MDA program, providing direct support for
MDA/DAP. DAI provided an Acquisition Strategy
and Support Team of senior acquisition
management professionals and Subject Matter
Experts all with Defense Acquisition Workforce
Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certifications in
Acquisition Management, Contracting, or Program
Management.
DAI supported the continued development of
Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS)
capability, integration, expansion of capabilities,
and continuous operations and sustainment of
