OUT- PATIENT MANAGEMENT
 Approach to diagnosis and treatment of newly registered OPD patients of AML, ALL, CML,
lymphomas (HL and NHLs) and myeloma.
 Approach to diagnosis and treatment of all varieties of adult solid tumor malignancies including
head and neck, thoracic, breast, gynaecological, genitourinary, gastro-intestinal and bone and
soft tissue malignancies.
 Exposure to wide variety of typical and atypical clinical presentations of all hematological and
solid tumor malignancies in adult patients.
 Experience of working with inter-disciplinary team (comprising of Medical Oncologist,
Radiation oncologist, Pathologist and Medical Social worker) as part of Disease Management
Groups.
IN- PATIENT AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
 Trained in expert management of In-patient hematological malignancies inclusive of acute
myeloid leukemias (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemias (ALL), complication management.
 Management of febrile neutropenia with special 9 month training in the febrile neutropenia
ward.
 Critical care and emergency management.
BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT
 Two- month formal training in Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, ACTREC, Kharghar.
 Trained in decision making regarding eligibility, selection and work-up of patients and donors
for autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplant.
 In- Patient management of patients receiving high dose therapy and stem cell transplant.
LABORATORY TRAINING

study of 200 patients of hypertension to determine the degree of relationship between stages
of hypertension and effect of variables such as age, sex, BMI, duration of hypertension,
associated ischemic heart disease and ECG changes on lung functions.
