We are seeking Naval, Mechanical and Automation engineers for Oil and
Gas Subsea engineering - Statoil ASA

Our workload related to the subsea segment is increasing, and we particularly seek engineers within one or several of the
following areas:

Naval engineering

Mechanical engineering

Automation and Electrical engineering
Our personnel are involved in all phases of the Company’s business such as early phase evaluation, engineering,
construction/ marine installation and decommissioning/ removal. We are involved in both offshore and onshore projects in
Norway and internationally.
Statoil aim to build multidiscipline competence within the subsea technology and encourage development across the different
technical segments.

Job description
Personal qualities








Responsible for one or several subsea activities
within early phase design, subsea field design,
concept studies, contract evaluation and contract
award, execution and modification projects
Participate in project preparation, being
responsible for development of technical
documents, enquiry packages and tenders
evaluation
Follow-up of contractors’ engineering,
construction and installation documentation
Follow-up of contractors’ fabrication, testing and
offshore installation activities
Ensure compliance with the company's HSE
targets through safe and environmentally friendly
solutions
Ensure use and transfer of experiences within the
relevant discipline networks as well as input on
risk management and project planning
Site follow-up and offshore work is an integrated
part of our project work









Qualifications

College/ University Masters degree
Education level

College/ University Masters degree
A high standard in HSE is required. Necessary HSE
training will be given
High ethical awareness and personal integrity
Responsible mindset
Good teamwork ability
Structured, systematic and target driven
Ability to understand, describe and communicate
risks
Interest for working in an international setting
Proficiency in English both oral and written
