FURNITURE SALE REPORT
The first monthly sale of antique, period and modern furniture and effects was
held on a bitterly cold Saturday at Reading Auction Centre conducted by
Thimbleby & Shorland. One of the largest crowds for many years attended
the sale which was not only for furniture and effects but also workshop tools
and equipment, office equipment, white goods and motor vehicles.
