Brooks of VA who moved to NC 1736); they moved to GA and all received land grants in
GA for their services in the Rev. War. One bro. Isaac Brooks, Rev. Sol., remained in
NC. (Grave of Micajah Brooks, marked by GA D.A.R. in Polk Co., five miles west of
Rockmart, GA. (Mary, widow of Joab).
