On-Campus Registration Checklist:
To get to your program web pages, from the Main SCTCC website www.sctcc.edu, click on programs and majors,
and then click on academic programs, and then click on the name of your major. The available degrees for your
major are located under the program options heading. Review your program web pages Academic Advising link for
the Admitted Students section, FAQ’s, News You Can Use, Success Strategies Seminars and Access Code
Academic Advising Sessions, Academic Advising Worksheet, and Sheet for Planning Out your Courses, etc.,) as
well as your program admissions link (the program open application period, the applicant ranking process, and the
applicant selection process, etc.)
After you complete your on-line orientation, if you need help in planning your courses or if you would like to
meet with your advisor prior to attending your on-campus registration session, please sign-up to attend a
Success Strategies Seminar (via your program web pages Academic Advising link.)

Attend a Program Information Meeting to learn more about your program.
Complete your Financial Aid Application.
Plan out which courses to take each semester.
Learn how to search for courses on the SCTCC Course Schedule.
Attend a Success Strategies Seminar to get academic advice.
Become familiar with the SCTCC Academic Calendar.
Learn how to view your Degree Audit Report.
Go through the on-line course tutorial and learn how to use the on-line D2L system.
At your on-campus registration session:

Check on your Financial Aid.
Be aware of the tuition payment policy.
Register for your courses.
Print off and show your advisor your course schedule to verify you are in the right courses.
Get a student locker.
Get your Student ID.
Set-up your SCTCC student email account.
Register your vehicle on-line and pick up your parking permit.
Stop at the book store and check on books and supplies.
Find your class rooms.
Explore other opportunities on-campus.
After your on-campus registration session:

Learn how and when to meet with your advisor.
