have ever had.

window and can hardly believe her eyes. For three years her cousins had
been telling her about the beach and the ocean. It had never seemed real
until now.
As the car stops, everyone jumps out. Sherry forgets how tired she is.
All she wants to do is play in the sand and jump in the waves.
PROMPT: Describe what Sherry is experiencing for the first time in her

words so that your reader can imagine being with Sherry in this special

Today was very interesting for Mary. She is excited to tell her brother
and sister all about it.

wish in this country during this day. Choose wisely and hurry. Your day
has begun!”
