Human Body Project: You be the Teacher!!!
You will be researching one of the human body systems. Upon completion of the
research you will create a presentation about your assigned body system.
Your Task is outlined below; for specific requirements and how we will grade, use the rubric
also found on the reverse side of this sheet:
1. Determine what comprises the levels of organization for your system (find out the cells,
tissues, organs, etc. involved with your system.
2. Make sure you understand and can describe the jobs of each the organs in your system
to an audience
3. Create a poster that contains and demonstrates the levels of organization (starts with a
cell in your body system and ends with your body system)
4. Prepare a 5-7min POLISHED presentation highlighting: the individual jobs of organs as
well as the overall job(s) of your body system, how homeostasis relates to your system,
an outlined experiment (designed by you) to see how your system’s homeostasis can
be disrupted, and feedback mechanism(s) your system uses to detect/maintain
homeostasis
5. You must submit a properly formatted (APA style) Works Cited page.
6. Use the rubric on the reverse side of this paper to review specific requirements!!!
