pre-programmed computers and dial-up Internet service at no cost to
parents.
Students work from the comfort of their own home, and families choose a
schedule that meets their needs.

Description of Most ATS tutors are certified teachers. Tutors that are not tutor
certified are high school graduates with either an qualifications: Associate's Degree,
60 college credits, or have passed an assessment measuring knowledge of
reading, writing, and math.

Program description: The Indianapolis Algebra Project (lAP) provides tutorial
remediation and enrichment in elementary arithmetic, intermediate mathematics
and Algebra. The lAP specializes in math because it is a subject that is extremely
important in today's society.

students with limited English proficiency served:
Description of Tutors: Tutors must have previous experience tutoring with tutor
students. Tutors must have one of the following qualifications: Teacher's
License,
College Degree, Associate's Degree or 60 hours of college credit. Tutors must
pass the Criminal Background Check and be cleared by the Sex Registry. Tutors
must attend Algebra Project Training and workshops. Tutors must submit at least
3 references from previous or current employers.
Minimum requirements: This provider must have a minimum of 10 students
enrolled in a district before they are willing to serve the district. This provider must
have a minimum of 5 students enrolled in a school before they are willing to
serve

Program description: Learn It Systems delivers face-to-face tutoring to students in a large
group (maximum of 6 students)and targets each student's academic weaknesses to
ensure that each child is receiving instruction where the child needs it most. Teachers
will work directly with your child and communicate with you on your child's progress
throughout the program. We pre-test and post-test every student to determine academic
growth, and our caring, highly-trained teachers are 100% committed to improving your
child's grades and self-esteem.

Description of Tutor qualifications: It is Learn It System's policy to hire instructors that
possess an Indiana State teaching certification, and preferably an advanced degree
qualification demonstrating subject matter expertise in the subject they teach. Where that is
not possible, Learn It requires at minimum a 2-year Associate's degree.
