Hopsewee Rice Plantation
Hopsewee was constructed in 1740. It was the home of
Thomas Lynch Jr. the South Carolina signer of the
Declaration of Independence. Hopsewee has been lovingly maintained and
is one of the most authentic historical preservations in our area. . .
it is not a restoration!

Heritage Plantation by Monday, April 4th
Meet in the Club House parking lot at 10:45am to carpool to
Hopsewee Plantation which is located on the North Santee River
(30 minutes south of Heritage on Hwy 17)
