A Challenging Position: This critical position has primary responsibility for assuring the development
and coordination of a comprehensive program for upgrading and operating communications systems,
electronic supervisory control and data acquisitions systems (SCADA), operation support systems,
telemetering equipment, data distribution systems and remote telemetry units (RTU) for the Region.
Job Responsibilities: Providing assistance and advice to the WAPA field offices relating to the
engineering disciplines of communications, switching, and control systems as required for total system
design and integration. Additional responsibilities include planning and managing changes to equipment
and systems and planning and coordinating programs for the design and commissioning of new systems.
