Qualification:
1- M.B.B.Ch. (excellent with degree of honour) ASSIUT
university faculty of medicine ASSIUT, Egypt September 1994.
2- M.Sc in Paediatrics (excellent) during the three years of
resident registrar post from ASSIUT University April 1998.
The M.Sc consists of three parts:

Previous posts:
1- Medical student from 1988 –1994. After that was
graduated from faculty of medicine ASSIUT university
where obtained M.B.B.Ch with excellent and degree of
honour.
2- JHO from 1/3/1995-28/2/1996. Rotating JHO in (general
surgery, gynaecology &obstetrics, urology, general
medicine, paediatrics, accident and emergency including
ICU and anaesthesia). Two months in each department at
ASSIUT university hospitals.
3- Resident registrar for a period of 3 years from1/3/9628/2/1999:
A- General department for 6months.
B- Paediatric intensive and intermediate care unites for
6months.
C-Paediatric emergency unite for 6month.
D-Neonatal intensive care unite for 6 months.
E- Paediatric gastroenterology unite for 3 months.
F- Paediatric haematology unite for 3 months.
G- Paediatric neurology unite for 3 months.
H- Paediatric cardiology unite for 3 months.
4- Assistant lecturer and senior registrar of Paediatrics at
ASSIUT University from 1999.

Research experience:
-3 years research work on maternal and neonatal lead level and
its relation to health aspect of the newborn. For partial
fulfilment of MS. Degree
-5 years research work on diagnostic role of endoscopy in
paediatric gastrointestinal disorders. For partial fulfilment of
MD. Degree.
- 16 research articles published in the Egyptian and International
journals of Paediatrics about the most important paediatric
problems in our locality.
Clinical experience gained:
 During the resident registrar period I was experienced
in receiving and management of most of the paediatric
emergency and routine cases.
 During the Assistant lecturer period I was specialized in
paediatric gastrointestinal and liver diseases
 Now I have good experience in
-paediatric gastrointestinal abdominal ultra sonography
-Paediatric
gastrointestinal
endoscopy
including
(diagnostic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, diagnostic
colonoscopy, colonic endoscopic biopsy, polepectomy).
 Now I have a training course in sclerotherapy and band
ligation of the oesophageal varices in children and
abdominal Doppler ultra sound.
