Responsible for the overall operations of the WA region of Westpoint
Construction but primarily was hired to oversee the proposed EMU Brewery
Development project which unfortunately never eventuated due to the demise of
Westpoint Corporation.

Qantas Domestic Terminal Redevelopment

Operations Manager, Building – John Holland Pty Ltd
Responsible for all building within Western Australia; management and review
of final tender submissions within the state operations; close liaison with project
teams on specialist heritage or difficult constructability undertakings to ensure
target outcomes are achieved; maintaining close relationships with all levels of
client.

Quality Control Inspector - Woodside Energy Ltd
Senior Engineer for Electrical Communications Fire & Safety Installation
Offshore on the Goodwyn “A Platform, residing on the DB100 (accommodation
support vessel) during the Hookup and Commissioning Phase of the Project.
Duties included inspection for conformance to specification and compilation of
QC documentation for the above mentioned disciplines.
1991 - 1994
Senior Supervisor – Woodside Energy Ltd
Responsible for all electrical, instrumentation HVAC, fire and gas and
communication systems. Duties included contract management of
subcontractors; progress payment analysis; variations; fair cost estimation or
approval; QA/QC documentation to ensure completed installation met with Det
Norse Veritas approval. Also responsible for full commissioning of the above
disciplines.

Construction Manager - Mayfield Clough Joint Venture
(Seconded to Atwood Drilling)
Goodwyn “A” Production Accommodation Units
Responsible for establishment and implementation of site systems; production
of construction schedule; manpower planning for onshore construction before
transfer to Atwood Oceanics.

Employed for the supervision and commissioning of the Australian Defence
Satellite Communications Base situated at Geraldton, WA.

Heavy Medium Separation Plant situated at the Argyle Diamond Mine, south of
Kununurra, WA.

Project Superintendent - Gooder Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers
Gas to Gasoline Synthetic Fuel Process Plant, North Island NZ. Supervision of
complete HV distribution 440V power. Control and instrumentation of the
project.

Direct supervision of gas metering stations on the Dampier-Perth natural gas
pipeline

Project Area Manager – Kilpatrick Green Pty Ltd
Worsley Alumina Project. Works involved complete electrical and
instrumentation installation for electrical distribution centres. Design, supply
and install cable ladder support system. Substations complete from switchgear
including 11kV, 3.3kV and 440V distribution to fully operable distribution centre
including complex cable ladder reticulation system. Control rooms involving
installation of PLC equipment, data highway earthing system and the installation
of associated Dekron instrumentation cablings. Complete lighting and small
power installation to major refinery area.

Supervision of complete electrical installation including HV and MV distribution
& control system for Modules 1 to 4 direct to Woodside Offshore Petroleum at
the Jervoise Bay loadout area. Other disciplines undertaken were Fire and Gas
