Alan silvestri es otro de los compositores más prolíficos, versátiles
y célebres del mundo del cine. Trabaja junto a Nancy Meyers en
Tú a Londres y yo a California y En qué piensan las mujeres, así
como en El padre de la novia y Vuelve el padre de la novia, de
las que Meyers fue co-guionista.
Silvestri fue nominado a los Premios de la Academia y a los
Globos de Oro por su trabajo en Forrest Gump de Robert
Zemeckis.
Para Zemeckis, Silvestri también compuso las bandas sonoras
de Tras el corazón verde, la trilogía de Volver al futuro, ¿Quién
engañó a Roger Rabbit?, Contact, Lo que la verdad esconde,
Náufrago y The Polar Express.
