ROYAL ADELAIDE HOSPITAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION
RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE BLOCK GRANTS 2015
Including equivalent RIBG distribution and Special Purpose Funds awards
CONDITIONS OF AWARD
The value of this infrastructure grant is up to $70,000
Objectives
These Awards are administered through the Royal Adelaide Hospital Research
Committee with the aim of supporting clinically relevant research infrastructure at The
Royal Adelaide Hospital campus by clinical investigators.
These grants are NOT Commonwealth Funded RIBG grants, but are funded from
equivalent infrastructure funding distribution allocated annually under the Affiliate
Agreements with the Universities and matching support funds from the private
practice earning SPF fund.
Researchers, Laboratories and Departments that have contributed to the generation
of these funds will be given preference, subject to the quality of the application, and
are especially encouraged to apply for infrastructure funding under this program.
However, all RAH Departments may apply and may be funded through SPF-derived
funds. Joint applications between two or more departments will be favourably
considered.
Eligibility
These Awards are intended to support RAH research infrastructure on the RAH
campus. Please note that SA Pathology and Universities have independent
RIBG/Infrastructure awards and are not eligible to apply under this program.
Conditions of Award
1. Award of up to $70,000 for one year only per individual
Researcher/Department. Genuine joint applications between two or
more departments may be considered for a higher amount at the
discretion of the Research Committee. The Committee may elect to
award a lesser amount. The Committee will determine which awards
will be distributed as either RIBG equivalent awards, SPF funded
grants or any other awards.
2. Only one application per Coordinating Chief Investigator is permitted.
