Research Analyst, Research Division, Cambridge, Grade E/F, Salary Range £26,500 to
£35,000 (depending on experience), Job Reference ARD009
Are you a numerate, computer literate graduate with hands-on experience of SAS or a similar
statistical analytics platform? If so, we would like to hear from you.
Working in Cambridge Assessment’s Research Division, you will be involved in improving
assessment processes and monitoring the quality and standards of Cambridge Assessment’s
qualifications.
You will assist with the development of new data analysis and reporting services based on data
arising from on-screen marking and digital assessments. You will also undertake ad hoc
analyses, provide statistical programming consultancy to the Research Division, conduct smallscale research projects and assist with larger scale projects.
You must have knowledge and hands-on experience of at least one statistical analytics /
Business Intelligence platform such as SAS or similar. A level maths (or equivalent) and a first
degree including statistical techniques are also required. Experience of conducting quantitative
social research, or of conducting data analysis in a business environment, would be a distinct
advantage. Computer literacy is essential, and general programming skills would be an
advantage.
Support and training opportunities – possibly including the opportunity to obtain a postgraduate
qualification if appropriate – will be available to the right applicant to help them acquire any
necessary specialist knowledge and skills that they currently lack. In the longer term, as one of
the world's largest assessment agencies, we welcome applicants wanting to develop a career
with us.
Applications should be made in writing, outlining relevant experience and skills, quoting

Resources, 1 Hills Road, Cambridge, CB1 2EU. Alternatively you can submit your application to
