Objective: You will create a newspaper cover story about the attack on Pearl Harbor. Pretend
that you are writing the article just days after the December 7th, 1941 attack. Use the article in
the Pearl Harbor packet and pages 555-57 in your textbook.
Requirements:
_____1.) Title of your newspaper including the date (2 points)
_____2.) Hand drawn/original picture (2 points)
_____3.) Headline (2 points)
_____4.) 2 paragraph article describing what happening on Dec. 7th AND how the United States
reacted to the Japanese attack (6 points – 3 pts. per paragraph)
***Be sure to include at least ONE “interview” from someone who witnessed the attack.
Primary sources are in the back of the room***

newspaper (but write it in English ) (2 points)
