 Communicated hospital’s services to area businesses and met with schools in greater Lakeland area to
develop hospital referral network and increased revenue generation
 Served as Adolescent Counselor for after school program that provided source for use as a referral
program for their adolescent psychiatric service population.

Non academic cardiovascular medical and research based medical group practice emphasizing interventional
cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiovascular, and atrial fib areas. The cardiologists pioneered many of the
commonplace treatments used today including angioplasty, atherectomy, intra-coronary stents, medical devices,
others.
Clinical Research Director: 1990 - 1991
 Supervised staff of six registered nurses and ensured patients met clinical trial criteria
 Reviewed clinical research trials so medication and medical device protocols met FDA requirements plus
acted as liaison for practice at the Institutional Review Board of St. Vincent Hospital

Indiana. Services included emergency, trauma, cardiac medical intensive care, skilled nursing, cancer treatment,
neo-natal care, stroke rehab, ambulatory care, physician practice collaboration, plus others.

 Performed vital signs on patients and educated them on proper coping skills, appropriate socialization,
self-care, and medication compliance
