Training Opportunity for Chapter Leaders




East TN chapter training was held March 29 in Knoxville. Future trainings will be held for Middle TN in
Murfreesboro (Apr. 12), and West TN in Jackson (Apr. 26).
Sessions are held for chapter presidents, program/EEC chairs, rules, treasurers, communications, and
membership.
You are encouraged to come to a training, even if it’s not in your area of the state.
If necessary, email your registration form to Michelle Steen at mnsteen@bellsouth.net ASAP. You will
need to pay the registration fee when you come to the training.
Chapter Rules Revisions/Updates
 Congratulations to the 24 chapters who have updated their rules and had them approved this year!! Six


more chapters have submitted and are working to make necessary changes and have them approved this
spring.
Only 11 chapters remain who are due for review this school year but have not submitted their
updates/revisions. The Xi State Rules Committee will work those chapters even though the time for
submission is growing short. If those 11 chapters are not submitted this spring, they will be added to next
year’s list.
Twenty chapters are due for review in 2014-2015 and 15 are due for review in 2015-2016. If your chapter
wants to get a head start on your updates, have a member from your chapter attend the half-day rules
session in Middle or West TN this month. Be sure that person brings your current chapter rules with them
to the session.
Time to Brag!!



It’s time to tally those points, sisters! The deadline for the Maycie Award for Chapter Excellence is
April 15, and we want to see how your chapter shines.
Form is available on the Xi State website and is also included with this newsletter.
Submit forms to Donna Campbell (campbelld1013@gmail.com).
