ASA Level 2 Swimming Teachers Wanted
The ASA and the RNLI are working in partnership to deliver Swim Safe for the third
successive year. Programmes in 2013 and 2014 saw over 6,000 children participate
and learn how to be safe in different water environments.
This year Swim Safe will be hosted at a number of sites, for which we are recruiting
for teachers at:

Boscombe Beach, Bournemouth

Sandhaven Beach, South Shields, Tyne and Wear

Brockhole Park and Lake Windermere Lake District

Friends of Bude Seapool, Bude
The programme offers free improver swimming sessions and beach/lake/seapool
safety advice for children aged 7-14. Most young people learn to swim in an indoor
pool which is a safe and familiar environment. Swim Safe gives young people the
opportunity to test and improve their swimming ability in a different aquatic
environment.
Children are being offered the opportunity to attend the FREE 40 minute session
which will include beach safety advice provided by RNLI lifeguards and up to 30
minutes in-water tuition with ASA accredited teachers. The programme is weather
dependent and sessions will be adjusted accordingly.
Schools Programme – Swim Safe For Schools
We will also be providing sessions during school term time to selected primary
schools. Times and dates are provided and are all subject to weather and sea/pool
conditions.
