Civil War Heritage Month Program
On Tuesday, April 15 at 7:00pm, the Prince George Heritage
Center will launch its observance of Civil War Heritage Month
by welcoming James H. Blankenship, Jr. ( Jimmy) to the Center
for a special program: "Civil War Battles in Prince George
County". The speaker's vast experience as a historian with the
Petersburg National Battlefield and his knowledge of local
history are no secret to this region and Jimmy promises to bring
new insights into Prince George Civil War history. A reception
will follow the program. This program is open to the public and
is free of charge. The Center is located at 6406 Courthouse Road
