Hymn of Praise
O, Holy Lord, holy in creating,
All that You create by Your Word,
by Your Spirit You consecrate.
O, Mighty Lord, mighty in suffering,
For the world You walk to Your death;
for the world, You resurrect.
Immortal Lord, in voice we praise You;
Father, Son, Holy Spirit — God, have mercy on us!
The Father, who appeared over Jordan as a voice,
The Spirit, who as a white dove hovered,
The Son, who by the Prophet John was baptized,
Three rays of light, one light shown,
The Trinity manifested, we praise You in voice:
Father, Son, Holy Spirit — God, have mercy on us!

Lord, Jesus Christ, You who traveled throughout Galilee
healing the sick, enabling the blind to see and the lame
to walk, bring healing to Your people who need it this
day. Give peace to the minds of those who are tortured
by mental illness and anxiety. Comfort those who are
alone in their illness. May Your people reach out to
them and to all who are in need this day. Send grace to
the caregivers, that they might be effective and gentle
agents of Your loving
mercy. May our sufferings be united with Yours to
bring healing to people throughout the world. Amen

Have your home blessed during this special
season of Light and Joy!
The Feast of Theophany is a liturgical event which
commemorates Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan River.
Fr. Anton will celebrate the Water Blessing Ceremony,
where he will bless the water with candles, his breath
and his hand, by immersing a cross in the water.
Parishioners are encouraged to take
blessed holy water home.
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR
Here are some thoughts on what a home should
be:
A house is not a home unless it contains food for
the soul as well as for the body.
A home is a house with a heart inside.
The church can preach, the school can teach , but
the home must convert sermons and lesson into a
way of life.
A house is built by hands, but a home is built by
hearts.
Please call the office to arrange for a time for
Fr. Anton to come and bless your home with the
traditional Jordan blessing.
