Town Board Meeting
Minutes of February 23th, 2015



Call to Order
Pledge of Allegiance
Minutes February 9th, 2015 Town Board Meeting. A motion was made to approve all
minutes by Fleming/Weber. Motion carried.
Present: Chairman Morris, Supervisors Fleming, Lichte, Weber and Herrick. Attorney Chapman and
Clerk Bright.
Also Present: Dave Frazer and Deputy Loberg

Citizen Comments and Concerns: Frazer asked about the recycling survey. Clerk
Bright stated that the permit needed to be paid for at the Post Office and then the
printer would need 5 days to print and send the survey.

New Business:
Joint Powers Agreement, County 911 Emergency System with Waukesha County – Attorney
Chapman read the state statute which read that the municipality must adopt this agreement.
Motion to approve by Lichte/Herrick. Motion carried.
Approve Mileage rate increase from $0.56 to $0.575 per mile – IRS mileage rate increased in
2015. Supervisor Herrick noted that the IRS will change their rate at mid-year if they deem
necessary. Motion to approve by Herrick/Fleming. Motion carried.
Clerk, Board, Highway and Attorney Reports –
 Supervisor Fleming notified the board that Lake Kesus Management had a meeting and
it was brought up that they would like the Town to pay for buoys.
 Clerk Bright informed the board that per a discussion with Deputy Gondek of the Boat
Patrol, lakes were to provide for their own buoy needs. Clerk Bright also notified the
board that Deputy Gondek is looking for a new boat for the patrol. There is $20,000 in
the 2015 budget, so just be prepared for something to come to the board in the next
month or two. Clerk Bright also confirmed with the board that the Open Book on July
6th and BOR on July 28th.
 Supervisor Herrick spoke of the events going on at the Town Hall Library. Reporter
Jessie Garcia was speaking on February 24th. Tim O’Driscoll will speak of his career as
a teacher and scorer for the Brewers on March 12th.
 Chairman Morris spoke of the county recycling program would be switching our
dumpsters from 10 yards to 8 yards to save money. The chairman and two other
supervisors will be attending WTA meetings this Friday or Saturday. There is a Public
Hearing for Arrowhead High School on March 4th for the possible building of fields on
the north side of County Highway K. A discussion about the new Four Winds West

subdivision followed. The water from the Village of Hartland will be coming from the
Four Winds East subdivision. The Four Winds West is planned to have one entrance
and 3 cul-de-sacs.
Operator’s Licenses – Hanson – Motion to approve by Fleming/Weber. Motion Carried.

Vouchers as Presented – A motion was made to approve by Lichte/Fleming. Motion carried.
A motion was made to adjourn by Fleming/Weber.
