Helpful Guidelines
 The vehicle must be carried or rest on your child’s shoulders by way of straps,
suspenders, etc… The vehicle MUST NOT touch the ground and it MUST NOT roll
on the ground.
 The vehicle must be lightweight so your child does NOT need help carrying it.
(Please note the vehicle will be worn for about 20 minutes.)
 The majority of the vehicle must be made out of cardboard (boxes) or Styrofoam
sheets. Vehicles should not be too long so they are difficult to “turn” or rock up
and down.
 Your vehicle can be decorated in a variety of ways
o Paint
o Wrapping paper
o Contact paper
 “Parts” that can be added to your creation
o Plastic wrap windshield
o Wheels (old albums, foil wrapped paper plates, cardboard, etc…)
o Headlights / tail lights (paper cups, small foil wrapped plates, etc…)
o License plate
o Steering wheel
o Antenna
o Car phone, radio, etc...
 All vehicles must be brought the day of the show.
 All vehicle must be taken home after the car show is over. Unfortunately we do
not have the space to store them.
