FanCam!
Top News!
The Spring Season is now complete, and what a season it was! First, we broke all records with
47 teams! Second, we had some outstanding Finals games that were really fun to watch!
Highlighted by the triple OT that occurred in Elite, and two other divisions decided within 2
points…Below is the summary!
Elite Division – Champion Shooters!
Wow, 3 OTs in the Finals – that’s a Legend record! No one really should have lost this epic
battle, but the Shooters did come out on top of the venerable Elders in the third overtime, 68-59!
Holland led the way with 21, Anzilotti 16, and MVP and coach Tim Best had 14. After the
game, a visibly drained Shooter team tipped their hats to the Elders, who pushed them to the
absolute brink!

Ladies Division – Champion ZeroGravity!
The Women’s Champion went to ZeroGravity, who had to earn the title by going through the top
two seeds in this tourney! They defeated the tough Saints, 57-49 in the Finale and were led by
Hogan with 15, Darden 13, and Harris 9. MVP honors went to Amanda Brown, who was the
model of consistency all season, both on offense and defense. “They started slowly, but the
other teams definitely feared them, because of their dominant presence on the court,” stated one
person in the know. “I had a good feeling they were going to go all the way, and I’m happy I bet
my salary on that,” the mystery fan stated.

19+ Division – Champion LiquidPrecipitation!
The Precipitation completed the perfect season, running the table with a perfect 10-0 record! It
was not a total cakewalk, as the Generals stayed with them most of the game, but succumbed 6849 in a darkened gym due to a freak power outage. “The lights may have been out, but they were
also shooting lights-out,” described a big fan of them. PapaGeorge again powered them with 18
points, followed by MVP Clarke with 14 and Wheeler with 9.
MVP Clarke shot well all season and was always tough on D.
A Division –Repeat Champion Unstoppable!
Unstoppable proved their team name is quite accurate by again winning the A Division,
successfully defending their title. They defeated an also highly decorated FullThrottle team by a
deuce, 46-44, and this went right down to the wire. They were led by MVP Carrier with 16,
Cather 9, and Yoo 7. “We will keep the name,” was the chant after the game.

A/B Division –Champion Redmen!
Another nail-biter! This time, the Redmen just outlasted the tough and big underdog Zephyrs by
just 2, 44-42. The Zephyrs were just the #6 seed in this tourney, so what a run they had! The
Redmen were led by Alfaro with 17, Cantwell 13, and Teasdale who had 7. MVP John Barnes
was the person they rallied around all year.

B Division –Champion Khanmen!
Last but not least, the #5 seed Khanmen - led by DC 101 Rocker DJ Assad Khan – did the
impossible, by knocking off the top two seeds to take the crown, 50-38. They were led by
Koshuta who was unstoppable underneath with 18, Fox 12, and Miller who had a strong 10.
MVP honors went to Tim D. (don’t ask to spell his name!). “It was such a thrill to take down
two incredibly tough teams that dominated us during the regular season,” coach Khan explained.
“Now I understand we will be moving up, so that will be another challenge next season,” he
added.
