Who do you want to meet at our Meet the Agents Day?
Please respond by 5:00 PM Eastern on Monday, September 10th
Steve Harrison and the rest of our team are looking forward to seeing you at the
upcoming Bestseller Blueprint Live event and Meet the Agents Day in Philadelphia.
Please take a moment and indicate, in ranked order, the agents you’d like to meet at Meet
the Agents Day. We’ll be using all the survey responses to organize an orderly system so
all attendees get to meet as many of their top picks as possible, while spending a
minimum amount of time waiting in lines.
You’ll find the survey form on page 2 of this document and Profiles of Literary Agents,
which contains unedited comments from attending agents starting on page 3.
Please number-rank your picks and fax your survey form to us at 610-541-0281 or
610-541-0282 or email us at AgentPicks@bestsellerblueprint.com by 5:00 PM
Eastern on Monday, September 10th.
For instance if your #1 pick is Daniel Bial Agency, put #1 in that slot. If your second
priority is meeting Ross Yoon Agency put #2 in that slot, etc.
IMPORTANT TIPS/RULES:
 If you do not submit picks by 5:00 PM Eastern on Monday, September 10th you
will be assigned a random appointment number to meet all of the literary agents.
 You need to prioritize/rank the agents you most want to meet. If you rank a
particular agent #2, that does not mean that they will be the second agent you meet
nor does it mean you will be the second attendee to meet them. We have a unique
software program that takes into account your prioritized rankings (along with all
other attendees’ rankings) and assigns you an appointment with each of the agents
you rank.
 Please only pick agents you want to meet – don’t check off agents that aren’t
appropriate for your topic.
 You can only use each number once (i.e. you can’t have two #1 picks). For
instance.
 You can only submit your picks ONCE. After sending us your picks do not make
changes and re-send. No exceptions.
 If you have any questions please contact support@bestsellerblueprint.com.

Dave Marsh in 1984; National Lampoon's Class Reunion (1982); Elvis: The Last Word (1991);

Ross Yoon Agency
Anna Sproul-Latimer is a literary agent who has worked for the DC-based Ross Yoon Agency
since 2005. She is currently building her client list, looking for smart, funny, original voices in
nonfiction - especially if those voices have already attracted a sizeable fan base. The manager of
the Ross Yoon foreign rights list, she is particularly interested in books that appeal to a global
audience.
Together with agency partners Gail Ross and Howard Yoon, Anna produces and edits book
proposals; coordinates sales to New York publishers; reviews prospective clients’ manuscripts;
helps authors promote authors’ books online; and organizes social events for the client
community. She has a BA from Columbia and a master’s degree from Oxford, both
in twentieth-century English literature. Anna is also a freelance editor and ghostwriter. In her
spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and dog, going to rock concerts, and
visiting America’s weirdest roadside attractions.
Representative Titles: I’m really just starting to represent domestic deals in my own name, so if
you’re looking for representative titles that have already been published, that’s a little tricky. As
a freelance editor and ghostwriter, I contributed significantly (original writing + heavy
manuscript editing) to the following Ross Yoon Agency titles for which Gail and/or Howard
served as the official literary agent:
The Secret Lives of Wives by Iris Krasnow, recently optioned for Lifetime television pilot
starring Salli Richardson.
Bitch Is The New Black by Helena Andrews, optioned for film by “Grey’s Anatomy” producer
Shonda Rhimes.
Speech-Less: Tales Of A White House Survivor, a New York Times bestseller by
Matt Latimer.
Life After Murder: Five Men In Search Of Redemption, by Murrow-award winning author
Nancy Mullane.
How To Disappear, an Amazon #1-bestselling book in its category, by Frank Ahearn and Eileen
Horan.
As an agent in my own right, I’m currently selling a Sloane Crosleyeseque memoir by a Los
Angeles-area mortician (Caitlin Doughty, creator of the “Ask a Mortician” web series). The
other projects I have underway are similar in tone: offbeat, funny, and of interest to curious,
smart, web-literate readers (mostly Gens X and Y).
As an agency, Ross Yoon sells groundbreaking nonfiction of all kinds. Clients include NIH
director Francis Collins, New York Times bestselling author of The Language of God;
Kai Bird, co-author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning American Prometheus; Tina
Rosenberg, winner of both the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award; Martha Raddatz,
ABC News reporter and moderator of the upcoming vice presidential debate; and a huge number
of reporters from the Washington Post, NPR, Politico, the New York Times, and similar.

Page 16
Subject/categories agent enjoys working with: Similar to what I said above: most of what I
pursue is nonfiction in the vein of Sloane Crosley, Bill Bryson, and Mary Roach. I love authors
who are curious. I love authors who are funny. I love learning about new places, hidden histories,
and cool science - anything that makes me see the world with new, more excited eyes. Since I am
a young agent, my expertise and New York editor contacts skew young as well; I represent a lot
of projects aimed at a 20-30something audience. But my interests are by no means limited to that
demo. I’ll consider projects for audiences of any age, background, religion, or political
persuasion—as long as they satisfy the following requirements: 1. They’re nonfiction; 2. They’re
aimed at an adult audience; and 3. They’re written by the best, most qualified writer for the topic.
Subject/categories agent does not enjoy working with: Fiction of any kind, YA, children’s,
poetry. Religious books meant for practitioners rather than a general audience (e.g. devotionals).
Books written by academics for academics.

Representative Titles: Nicki Minaj: Hip-Pop Moments for Life; (1)ne Drop: Shifting the Lens on
Race; Forgotten Burial: A Restless Spirit’s Plea for Justice
