church of Sardis
1. Spiritual condition
The dead formal church, This church had a good reputation on the outside but was dead inwardly.
b. description of Christ.. Comes as the 7 spirits of God. All seeing always present God. Holding the seven
stars seen right through the dead church.
c. Commendation. Only one a few names not defiled.
d. Deficiency. That He knows their works and that they are dead.
e. Instruction, Be watchful and careful. Hold strong to what remains and return to the first love.. Hold fast
and repent.
f. Promise... Will cloth in white raiment and will not blot out their name ...
PHILADELPHIA
a. Spiritual condition.. Faithful, holy and true the church of brotherly love..
b. Description of Christ.. The Faithful and the true. Holding the key David and opens doors and no man
shutteth, shuts doors and no man openeth..
c. Commendation.. Has kept His word.. Endured and did not deny the name of our Lord, and has a little
strength.
d. Hold fast and let no man take thy crown.
e. Will make the infiltrators come and worship at their feet, and to know that God has loved us... Will keep
them from the hour of temptation. And to the over--commer Will make a pillar in the temple of God so that
he will never go out again( could this mean that the possibility to backslide is taken away??} And will have
the new name of God and the name of the city of God will be given to them and written on their head.. Also
will receive a new name.... "This is the church for me!!!!.
3. Will be held from the hour of temptation. Will be in the "rapture". or will not see or be in the hour of
temptation.
4.LAODICEA
a. Spiritual condition. Luke warm church.. They thought that everything was all right. We know that God
will spew out those that are luke warm.. Lord help me to be 100% crazy and on fire for you!!!
b. Description of Christ. Comes as the Amen, the one that finishes the work and the "Let it be so.." The
faithful witness. the one that has witnessed the Whole thing from beginning to end.
c. Commendation none..
d. Deficiency.. Unconcerned, naturally unacceptable. Thinks everything is o.k. And has no real fire for
God.
e. Instructions.. To buy from God Gold that they might be rich and white raiment that they might be
clothed..
f. Promise.. To sit with him in his throne even as Father God has him sit..
5.. God wants fellowship with them but they leave him out.. We mustn't be that way.. Sometimes I hear
that knock.. It's usually at times that I think that I'm O.K. It always hits my heart hard to think that
somehow I may have locked My Lord out of my life. i would pray that he always have his own key to me
and my heart that i will never be capable of locking him out.
