Introduction
The International Workshop on Innovation and Commercialization of Micro & Nanotechnology (ICMAN)
is an academia workshop, exchanging micro/nano latest technology and achievements; it’s a
commercialization workshop, discussing industrialization modes and approaches; and it’s also a
collaboration workshop, discussing the cooperation between enterprises (organizations), researchers
and customers. It provides a high-level academic, industrial and strategy study and exchange platform.
The 1st ICMAN had been successfully held in Suzhou (2007). Participants expressed approval for the
workshop, and thought that the workshop was informative and practical to promote the innovation and
industrialization development of Micro/Nano technology of China and related areas, so it is worth to
continue. It is decided that the 2nd ICMAN will be held in Xi’an, China, on October 18-20, 2008.
