Construction Clean Up Agreement and Disclaimer
THIS AGREEMENT is made this _______ day of ____________, __________, by
and
between ____________________________________________ and Panorama
Window Cleaning.
Panorama Window Cleaning agrees to provide “construction cleanup”
window
cleaning services in exchange for the agreed upon sum of
$__________.____ due and
payable at the completion of the job.
Disclaimer
Panorama Window Cleaning and its employee’s or subcontractors use
industry approved
cleaning procedures including razor blade scrapers and steel wool to
clean windows requiring “construction cleanup.” We take care not to
damage your glass. However, there is always the danger on any
construction project that windows may become damaged or scratched prior
to any “construction clean” by the many different people that work
around them. This damage and/or scratches can easily hide underneath
the dirt and other materials found on the glass. Secondly, windows
often have concrete, stucco, and other matter that can scratch glass at
any time during construction, or “construction cleanup.” This is an
inherent risk for windows that were not protected/covered during
various construction phases. Lastly, some Heat Treated glass (Heat
Strengthened & Tempered) may have defects that result in fabricating
debris embedded in the glass. These defects may not be visible to the
naked eye, but are produced at the time of manufacturing by companies
not using proper cleaning techniques at their facilities. Further,
fabricating debris can be dislodged during normal window cleaning using
a razor blade knife resulting in scratches on the surface of the glass.
With respect to the above paragraph, it is agreed by the undersigned,
while performing
“construction cleanup” on your windows, Panorama Window Cleaning
(employees
and/or its subcontractors) WILL NOT be held liable or responsible for
any damage
or scratches found on these windows or window frames.
By my signature below I understand and agree to the terms of the
agreement and to the waiver of liability above. Furthermore, under
penalties of perjury, I am either: the
property/building owner, general contractor, and/or authorized to sign
on their behalf.
