Requirements:
-give a speech (one that you have prepared) to the Bundestag (German Parliament) about an issue
related to immigration
-the speech should be about 1-2 minutes in length (0:45-3:00- at 3 min. you will be stopped)
-the speech should outline your stance on the issue that you have chosen as well as your reasoning
for your position
-the speech should contain opening and closing remarks; a greeting and introduction for example
-use of notecards is encouraged, but do not simply read word for word what you have written
*use NOTECARDS, not a full sheet of paper
-treat this like a real speech: make eye contact with your audience, speak loudly and clearly, and
maintain a good speaking pace
-pronunciation and grammatical accuracy are important
-professional appearance & behavior are expected during the speech
*no laughing, professional attire (within dress code), etc.
