Sunday, June 1 at 7:00 PM: Baccalaureate
Christ Church UCC
(located on S. White Oak St. in Annville)
Baccalaureate is a non-denominational church service with a graduation
theme. Pastor Don Mason will preside.
Attendance is optional.
If Attending
Sign up with Miss Cox so we know approximately how many seats to
reserve.
(You may still decide to attend even if you don’t sign up.)
There is a time of fellowship after the service. Those attending are asked to
bring a dessert item to share.
(Bring it to the social hall on arrival.)
Seniors: Report to the social hall by 6:30 PM
Dress: Ladies – a dress or “Business/professional” blouse & skirt/slacks
Gentlemen- shirt (with collar) and tie, dress slacks and dress shoes
Wednesday, June 4: Breakfast and Walk-Through
Report to school at the normal time and check in with Period 1 teachers for
attendance. Full-day/AM CTC students check in with Mrs. Shanaman in
the attendance office.
After attendance, report to the auditorium. We will board buses and travel
to Shady Maple Smorgasbord for the traditional Senior Breakfast. This is
paid for by the senior class, so you do not need to bring your own money.
Upon returning to the high school, ideally around 11:15am, we will have a
walk-through of the commencement ceremony in the auditorium. We will
finish for the day between 12:00 and 1:00. You will need your own
transportation home.
Any student who will need handicapped (wheelchair) seating for
guests attending commencement should see Miss Cox no later
than Monday walk-through.

Thursday, June 5 AM: Class Picture/Dress Rehearsal
Attendance is mandatory for those participating Thursday night.
Report to schoola t the normal time and check in with Period 1 teachers for
attendance. Full-day/AM CTC students check in with
Mrs. Shanaman in the attendance office.
After attendance, students should report to the gymnasium for class and
individual photographs. All students should be in their cap and gown with
appropriate dress underneath (see below)
After photographs, students will be bussed to LVC for dress rehearsal.
You will need your own transportation home.
Dress (both morning and evening):
Ladies: conservative white or light-colored dress, light-colored dress shoes
(a bright-or dark-colored dress will show through the white gown)
Gentlemen: shirt (with collar) and tie, dress slacks and shoes
Thursday, June 5 7 PM: This is it! Congratulations!
Report to the field house (shown to you at practice) at the Arnold Sports
Center by 7 PM in your cap and gown. The commencement exercises begin
at 7:30 PM and will last approximately 90 minutes. Afterward, seniors will
receive their graduation packets (which include diplomas) if all obligations
have been satisfied. Parents: the doors will open at 6:45 PM.
Obligations: If you owe class dues or have any obligations to the school
(including the return of or payment for textbooks, library books, athletic
equipment and other issued materials; return of parking permits; the
serving of detentions, etc.), you will not receive your diploma until you have
paid.
Miscellany: The following items are strictly forbidden at commencement
activities: gum, jeans, shorts, sneakers, wrinkled gowns, purses, flowers,
medals or other items worn as jewelry (outside the gown). Please note:
Anyone who arrives at commencement or at any practice under the
influence of alcohol, etc., will be arrested and will not be permitted to
participate.
