Westcoast Livestock reports that agents yarded a total of 961 cattle at Muchea which included 73 cattle
sold by appraisal.
The smaller yarding included larger supplies of pastoral types with finished local cattle yard to find.
There was little change in prices for pastoral or local export weight steers. Local yearling store cattle
continue to be highly sought after by feedlotters and graziers. All classes of slaughter cows sold to
similar values to last week while heavy bulls enjoyed solid processor demand.
