CPPP Parent Education Meetings
Schedule for the 2013/2014 School Year
Meetings are from 7:00-8:30
As a reminder, attendance at Parent Education Meetings is required. You are allowed to miss one meeting a year
without penalty. Please check your calendars early to note any conflicts.
Dwell Christian Church is located at: 1292 Minnesota Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125. It is on the corner of
Minnesota and Hicks. We will be meeting in the chapel.
There is not a Parent Ed meeting in September: Meetings will be scheduled with Support Job Chairs to go over
your support job.
Wednesday, October 9th (Dwell Christian Church) -- Briefly meet with your Support Job Committee
Chairperson. Classes will then meet with the teachers.
Wednesday, November 13th (Dwell Christian Church) -- Guest Speaker (Tentative).
Speech Development
Wednesday, December 11th (Location TBD) -- Classes will meet individually for a brief class meeting and
holiday and social event. The location will be determined by each class and your Class Coordinator.
Wednesday, January 15th (CPPP) -- The Pre-K Class will meet with a Kindergarten Teacher and to discuss
Kindergarten Readiness. Date subject to change.
Wednesday, January 15th (CPPP)-- The 2’s and 3’s Classes will meet at CPPP.
The 2’s class will meet with Teacher Monica to discuss the 3’s program.
The 3’s Class will meet with Teacher Julie to discuss the Pre-K program.
Wednesday, February 12th (Dwell Christian Church) -- Class will meet with their teacher.
Wednesday, March 12th (Dwell Christian Church) -- Guest Speaker: (Tentative) CPR: Update Your Knowledge
Wednesday, April 2nd (Dwell Christian Church) -- Guest Speaker: Nutrition and Class Meeting.
Wednesday, May 14th (CPPP) -- Silent Auction. Parent only Event! With yummy food! Get a babysitter... this
one is fun for both parents!
