CALL TO ORDER
The meeting of the Mare Island Technology Academy Board of Directors was held on Thursday, February
5, 2015, and was called to order by Board President, Bonnie Katz, at 4:10.m.
ROLL CALL AND ESTABLISHMENT OF QUORUM
Members present: Jaime Guzman, Bonnie Katz, Debbie Lamb, Reniel del Rosario, James Shorter, Gary
Williams
Members absent: Cheri Summers, Lynne Vaughan, Andrea Wynn-Walker
Others present: Anne Clark, Alex Insaurralde, Matt Smith
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
The following change was made to the agenda:
The presenter Jim Young was unable to present, Lisa Corr took his place in presenting.
On motion of Gary Williams, seconded by Debbie Lamb, the Board of Directors approved the agenda (as
amended). The Board voted unanimously in favor.
PUBLIC COMMENT
There were no public comments.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
a) Board Training session on 7 Habits of Highly Effective Governing Boards – see attached.
ADJOURNMENT
