Will be holding one last New Member Workshop before the end of the school year, and more
specifically dead week. Expected to be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday. Times will match what
chapter presidents say is their brothers best possible availability, that matches with both Member
Educations.
It is the goal of Member Education to have all SAE members to attend the workshop as they are new on
campus and should be informed of the shared values of the university and its Greek Life.
In terms of the Greek Banquet, speakers have been chosen and hopefully attendance will have been
counted for and adjusted in terms of eatery.
Fraternal Values Society is finishing it's sessions and looking to congratulate new members into the
Alpha Lambda chapter. Presidents and Officers should look for who is elevating in leadership in their
chapters and encourage them to join FVS in the fall.
Emerging Leaders also has one more session left, chapters should look for who they would like to go in
the next semester.
This is a link to MSU Greeks video promoting Greek Life here at MSU. It was made in the previous year
and it is encouraged that chapters use it as a personal tool.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owj1JAsWx1E&feature=youtu.be
Should be on the Greek Recruitment page
Member Education is thinking of making another video (fully paid by campus) but in the focus of you're
always wearing your letters, this would be more portrayed towards Greeks already active isntead of
GDIs (Greek Deprived Individuals).

We are also making an Alumni Event for October 10th that would be after the Homecoming Parade that
goes from 9am-10am and before the homecoming Game that would be at 2pm. The event will be
between these two events, specific start and end times are to be determined.
It will either be at Jake's Pizza where Alumni will be able to drink or on campus where they would not,
which might be the case as Sororities cannot have Alumni events associated with Alcohol. As fall has not
started, there are still possibilities of either.
To PR and Marketing, just as a heads up, we will be including the Alumni Event in the early September
homecoming publication.
Chapters can bring year books they may have or other memorable items for the Alumni (for example,
Sigma Chi may bring such items like Swallows)
We would also like each chapters Alumni Relations Officer to relay the information to their Alumni, so
they should be made aware of its imminence before the event and its publication nears.
U-Lead will be on the 18th of October and speakers are being finalized. Member Education is currently
attempting to collaborate with RHA to make it as successful as possible for not just Greeks but regular
University students as well
