District camp feedback still to be done but will be written up based on evaluation tags. Alicia and Angus to submit Go for it grant to support district camp for next year. action T-shirts to be given away at 80th birthday party. Suzannah to write up camp feedback. Nu Radio not yet been contacted. Alicia to contact Nu Radio to invite to party. Need to follow-up with city farm and see if they still want to have a woodcraft group. Alicia to follow up on city farm. London camp was a great success. BBQ and FG festival went well. Alicia suggest keeping list of attendees at events for future communication. Angus to bring a contact book to keep record of attendees at events. WI letter of thanks to be written. Suzannah to write letter of thanks to WI. Banner still needed. Alicia to look at pop up option with more detailed account of Woodcraft and sail style with simple message. Alicia to get quotes for banner to be funded out of awards for all grant. Suzannah sent letter to support wood man at Debden. Calluna Loppers lost on recent activity belonging to WREN, agreed to replace at cost of £35.00. Sessions first Sunday each month next one will be den building. Training planned for 6 leaders first on 11th October second on the 8th of November, 2 places available. Transition between groups Pioneers to Ventures and Elfins to Pioneers sessions have been co-ordinate (planned sessions for the 8th of October). Alicia to liaise with WREN over paying for loppers. Leaders to circulate events Group leaders to coordinate transition nights. 80th Birthday All booked up. Ceilidh band to be booked with Rags Rudi as another potential act. Films to be shown, plus group presentation. Invites to be sent out with the card with RSVP. Annual Gathering No district rep attending this year, agreed need to ensure district plan ahead for next year. Behaviour support DF support has been highly valued in Elfin and Pioneer groups. Angus raised issue of helping parents getting involved strategies discussed. Alicia suggested parents need more cues to be involved and more introductory training. Also have some reinforcement of WC values to 80th Great Party. Angus raised issue of child in Elfin group who needs behavioral support meeting agreed to fund a DF to provide support in sessions. Money to be paid as volunteer expenses at £10 per session. A Bond Between Us Project starts in November at the Highham Huddle. Donation made by UNITE union of £1,000 for which the district are very grateful. Fund raising events being planned. Application made to ADOBE Voice scheme has also been made to support young people in media skills. Application also made to Film London to support project. Also have an Award 4 All grant of £10K. Suzannah suggested UNICEF 60 Second film project – if there is time. Awards for all grant Programme going well, film in progress being edited by Rayna. Camping activities in progress slight under-spend on District Camp to be used to support young people on London Stubbers Venturer camp. Funding item Mary has closed bank accounts as agreed at AGM. Letters signed by bank signatories AOB: Lodge- no progress on CIC so current arrangements continue. Next District meetings DGM 15th Jan 2015 AGM 7th March 2015 Planning continues. Angus to circulate list of 80 greats to be updated by all. Bill to contact Green Kite Need to book places ASAP to get early bird. Need to identify who is going. Alicia to identify DF to provide support Elfin. Decision of support for Elfin to be reviewed in December and fed back at next DGM. Angus to liaise with Mary over how funds arranged. Alicia and Stuart to keep district up dated. Suzannah and Angus to co-ordinate the report and review budget.
